After the 2001 National Association of State Park
Directors conference, we took seriously the suggestion of several
attendees and began working very closely with the fine people at
VASQUE to produce the new "Uniform" series of customized
backpacking boots, specifically designed for use by field and dress duty
officers. The models chosen for this series are the time proven Classic
Sundowner GTX, the outstanding Sundowner MX2 GTX and the Clarion series of
lighter weight boots.
We were delighted to present our Classic (Gore-Tex) Sundowner boot in the
newly produced, highly serviceable "Dress Black" option at 2002
NASPD conference held in Asilomar, California. Attendee response was
enthusiastic and very positive. With a solid production commitment from
VASQUE, we are now up and running with the professional quality footwear
both needed and deserved by officers working in variable terrain and a
wide variety of weather conditions. In addition to the VASQUE
1 year warranty, both of these models are re-soleable.
